WIX® Filters Returns with Hutchens at Dover in Hopes to "Filter Out Cancer"
Winston-Salem, NC (9/28/16) – This Friday’s “Dover 125” at Dover International Speedway will mark the season finale for the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, and Trey Hutchens eighth start this season. Hutchens will be supported by WIX® Filters, a global manufacturer of filtration products, and will adorn the familiar pink colors of breast cancer awareness in conjunction with WIX’s “Filter Out Cancer” campaign.
“I can’t thank WIX Filters enough for allowing us to run their “Filter Out Cancer” scheme at Dover again this year,” said Hutchens. “Not only did it turn heads at Dover last year, but it also raised awareness to a cause that is very dear to my heart. I lost my mother to breast cancer in 2009 and it means the world to me to associate myself with companies that allow me to use our platform to try to raise awareness to find a cure.”
Friday’s race will also mark the seventh consecutive year WIX and Trey Hutchens have partnered together.
“WIX has been more than a sponsor; they’re family. Dover is the site of my first top 10 in the East, and I would love for it to be the site of my first win, too. It would mean a great deal to me to win for WIX, Chevrolet and everyone who has supported my program.”
