After nearly 34,000 votes were cast around the world for NASCAR regional touring series’ 2015 Most Popular Driver Awards, seven drivers (Rico Abreu, Nicole Behar, Jason Hathaway, Rodrigo Marban, Alon Day, Melissa Fifield and Trey Hutchens earned the ultimate honor from fans.

 

Trey Hutchens (Lexington, N.C.) was chosen for the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour (NWSMT). Hutchens, in his first full season of NASCAR touring series competition, also earned the Sunoco Rookie of the Year Award in the NWSMT. He collected more than 40 percent of the NWSMT vote to top tour champion Andy Seuss, a three-time winner of the award.-NASCAR Home Tracks
